1. Genesis 12:3

2. Genesis 17:14

   But if any male is not circumcised, he will be cut off from his people; he has broken My covenant.”

3. Genesis 28:17

4. Genesis 28:22

   And this stone I have set up as a pillar will be God’s house, and of all that You give me I will surely give You a tenth.”

   “This stone shall be God’s house - That is, (as far as this matter refers to Jacob alone), should I be preserved to return in safety, I shall worship God in this place. 5. Genesis 49:10

6. Exodus 12:3

   Tell the whole congregation of Israel that on the tenth day of this month each man must select a lamb for his family, one per household.

In another place of Holy Writ, it is prescribed that if anyone is unable to keep the Passover in the first month, he is to do so in the second. 7. Exodus 12:6

   You must keep it until the fourteenth day of the month, when the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel will slaughter the animals at twilight.

8. Exodus 12:15

   For seven days you must eat unleavened bread. On the first day you are to remove the leaven from your houses. Whoever eats anything leavened from the first day through the seventh must be cut off from Israel.

9. Exodus 12:19

   For seven days there must be no leaven found in your houses. If anyone eats something leavened, that person, whether a foreigner or native of the land, must be cut off from the congregation of Israel.

   “Born in the land - A stranger or foreigner might be born in the land, but the word here used means “a native of the land,” belonging to the country by virtue of descent, that descent being reckoned from Abraham, to whom Canaan was promised as a perpetual inheritance.

12. Exodus 16:2

    “The whole congregation - murmured - This is an additional proof of the degraded state of the minds of this people; See Clarke’s note on Exo 13:17. And this very circumstance affords a convincing argument that a people so stupidly carnal could not have been induced to leave Egypt had they not been persuaded so to do by the most evident and striking miracles. Human nature can never be reduced to a more abject state in this world than that in which the body is enthralled by political slavery, and the soul debased by the influence of sin.

13. Exodus 16:9

Had it been a natural production it would have fallen on the Sabbath as at other times; and had there not been a supernatural influence to keep it sweet and pure, it would have been corrupted on the Sabbath as well as on other days.
