1. Ecclesiastes 5:1

   Guard your steps when you go to the house of God. Draw near to listen rather than to offer the sacrifice of fools, who do not know that they do wrong.

   “Keep thy foot when thou goest to the house of God,.... The house of the sanctuary of the Lord, the temple built by Solomon; and so any place of divine worship, where the word of God is preached, and his ordinances administered. The wise man, having observed many vanities under the sun, directs men to the house of God, where they might learn the nature of them, and how to avoid them; though if care was not taken, they would find or introduce vanity there; which, of all vanities, is the worst, and ought to be guarded against.

   "Be not rash with your mouth, and let not your heart be hasty to utter a word before God; for God is in heaven and you are on earth, so let your words be few. For a dream comes from much concern, and foolish talk from many words." Several men think that this teaches here that we should not promise something too quickly in the presence of God, and without due consideration of our strengths we vow things, which we cannot then fulfil.

2. Isaiah 62:9

   For those who harvest grain will eat it and praise the LORD, and those who gather grapes will drink the wine in My holy courts.”

3. Ezekiel 43:12

   This is the law of the temple: All its surrounding territory on top of the mountain will be most holy. Yes, this is the law of the temple.

4. Matthew 21:13

7. 1 Corinthians 3:17
