Chapter summary
The consecration of Aaron and his sons. Seven days of ordination. A bullock for sin offering, two rams — one for burnt offering, the other the ‘ram of consecration’. Blood on the right ear, the thumb of the right hand, and the great toe of the right foot of each priest. The wave offering, the heave offering, the meat offering, the drink offering. A daily burnt offering of two lambs — one at morning, one at evening — for all generations. ‘I will meet with the children of Israel, and the tabernacle shall be sanctified by my glory. And I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will be their God.’
