Chapter summary

The blessing of the tribes. ‘The LORD came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir unto them; he shined forth from mount Paran’. Reuben — ‘let Reuben live, and not die’. Judah — bring him unto his people. Levi — thy Urim and Thummim with thy holy one; teach Jacob thy judgments. Benjamin — the beloved of the LORD shall dwell in safety by him. Joseph — blessed of the LORD be his land for the precious things of heaven, the earth, the sun, the moon, the ancient mountains, the fulness thereof, and the good will of him that dwelt in the bush. Zebulun and Issachar. Gad. Dan. Naphtali.
