Person
Noah
The righteous 'preacher of righteousness' who found grace and, by faith, built the ark — through whom the race survived the Flood.
Noah 'walked with God' in a violent generation; he is called a 'preacher of righteousness' (2 Pet 2:5). God preserves him and his family through the Flood, then establishes the Noahic covenant and gives the sign of the bow (Gen 9). The ark prefigures salvation in Christ.
