Greek chrēstotēs — kindness, useful-goodness. Some English translations render "kindness"; "gentleness" is the KJV. "Taste and see that the LORD is good" (Ps 34:8). 2 Cor 10:1 — Paul appeals "by the meekness and gentleness of Christ."
