Both readings of the classification surfaced honestly: Reformed (covenant of works, broken; the seed-promise of 3:15 inaugurates the covenant of grace) per Westminster Confession ch. 7 and Owen. Dispensational (Edenic vs. Adamic split — Gen 1–2 as creation-mandate, Gen 3:14–19 as the post-fall Adamic dispensation) per Scofield. Some traditions deny an explicit Adamic covenant altogether (Gen 1–3 as creation-order rather than covenantal). Surface all three; do not adjudicate.
