Short bio

Dr. Bill Hamon is an American Charismatic minister, founder (1967) and Bishop of Christian International Ministries Network (CI), and one of the foundational architects of the modern apostolic-prophetic movement. He has functioned in prophetic ministry for 60+ years, has prophesied personally to 50,000+ individuals (per CI's documentation), and has provided prophetic-ministry training for 250,000+ through CI's curriculum and certification programs. CI operates on five continents and oversees 3,000+ ministers and churches. He is the father-in-law of Jane Hamon (Tier 1) and Tom Hamon, who lead Vision Church @ Christian International (Santa Rosa Beach, FL). He authored multiple books on prophetic ministry and apostolic-prophetic theology including the *Eternal Church* trilogy / quartet, *Prophets and Personal Prophecy*, *Apostles, Prophets and the Coming Moves of God*, and *Day of the Saints: Equipping Believers for Their Revolutionary Role in Ministry* (2002).

What they believed

  • Cessation — Strong continuationist; all gifts and offices operative. Foundational architectural voice for modern continuationist NAR-stream.
  • Fivefold Ministry Today — All five offices (apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, teacher per Ephesians 4:11) operative today. Apostolic-prophetic-foundation precedes evangelist-pastor-teacher functions in proper church government.
  • Already Not Yet Balance — Strong "already" emphasis — the church is to advance the kingdom now through restored fivefold ministry. The "not yet" is real but the framework leans victorious-eschatology operationally.
  • Apostolic Office Today — Both offices fully operative, foundational-and-ongoing per Ephesians 2:20 / 4:11. Hamon's framework is one of the most-systematized articulations of the modern restoration-of-fivefold-ministry doctrine; CI's apostolic-network covering-and-accountability framework operationalizes the doctrine.
  • Priesthood of All Believers Emphasis — Strong; *Day of the Saints* (2002) is the load-bearing articulation that every believer is equipped and released for supernatural ministry, not just five-fold-office-holders.
  • Private Revelation Status — Personal prophetic words are real revelatory communication subject to scriptural validation. Prophets and Personal Prophecy (1987) articulates testing-criteria framework. Specific prophetic accuracy is contested; CI's accountability framework is meant to address this.
