Observe, The law is said to prophesy, as well as the prophets, concerning him that was to come. Christ began at Moses ( Luke xxiv. Christ was foretold by the dumb signs of the Mosaic work, as well as by the more articulate voices of the prophets, and was exhibited, not only in the verbal predictions, but in the personal and real types.
