Chapter summary
The tabernacle itself. Ten curtains of fine twined linen with cherubim in blue, purple, and scarlet, joined by loops and taches of gold. Eleven curtains of goats' hair above; rams' skins dyed red for an outer covering; badgers' skins for the final roof. Boards of shittim wood standing up, sockets of silver, bars of shittim wood. The veil of blue, purple, and scarlet with cherubim, divides the holy from the most holy. The ark is set within the veil; the table and lampstand stand without. The hanging at the door of the tent. Every detail received, then to be built ‘as it was shewed thee in the mount’.
