Chapter summary
Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us. Fornication and all uncleanness let it not be once named. Be ye not partakers with the sons of disobedience. Walk as children of light. Be filled with the Spirit; speaking to yourselves in psalms. Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God. Husbands, love your wives, as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it. This is a great mystery — I speak concerning Christ and the church. Henry reads the marriage section as the pattern of bridal theology.
