The Grain and Peace Offerings

The minḥāh (Lev 2): fine flour, oil, and frankincense; a memorial portion burnt, the remainder to the priests; no leaven, no honey; and "the salt of the covenant of thy God" never lacking (Lev 2:13). The shelāmim (Lev 3; 7:11–34): fat to the altar, breast and shoulder to the priests, and the rest eaten by the worshipper — the only offering that ends in a shared meal, in its thanksgiving, vow, and freewill forms (Lev 7:12, 16).
