John Calvin

John Calvin was a French theologian, pastor, and reformer in Geneva during the Protestant Reformation. He was a principal figure in the development of Reformed theology, and his magnum opus, the 'Institutes of the Christian Religion,' is a systematic presentation of Protestant theology. His teachings on predestination and God's sovereignty became foundational to Reformed churches.
